A bit about Morey
Sport is in my DNA. Since I was 7, playing in the Under 10’s at Waimea Heights Primary School, I have enjoyed the energy on the field playing sport, being part of a team and of course off the field, value the camaraderie, friendships and experiences I have shared with others.
As a player, coach, teacher, club president, volunteer and more recently as an advocate with Clubs Tasmania where we lobbied for greater investment in the community club sector, I have been drawn to grassroots sport and sporting events.
Organising countless school trips, footy club trips, players trips and social groups for the last twenty years and after estbalishing strong relationships with the grassroots club sector, I saw a gap in the local sports tourism market and started up Morey’s Tours.
Leveraging my networks and contacts in the sports and entertainment sectors, allows Morey’s Tours to provide a competive advantage – ‘we have access to the tickets that no one else in Tassie has’ We join the dots for people and provide a local solution to deliver on a passion for live sport.
